A national hero who worked throughout his life to raise awareness of dementia and the
importance of finding joy each day.
Richard Taylor, known internationally, was one of the founders of the Dementia Alliance International and the author of Alzheimer’s From the Inside Out. He was a university professor, a Psychologist and Director of Human Resources. In this book, his blog articles and his presentations he was an advocate for supporting and educating those with dementia to live fully and independently. He inspired many others to speak up and speak out. Richard died from cancer in 2015.
